Havre De Grace City is a city located in Harford County, Maryland, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. Havre De Grace City had an official population of 11331 in 2000. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 13085, giving it the 106th largest population among Maryland. The city has a total area of 5.39 miē (13.96 kmē), of which, 4.03 square miles (10.44 kmē) of it is land and 1.36 square miles (3.52 kmē) of it is water, it is the 128th largest by area in the U.S. state of Maryland.

The racial makeup of the city was 8979 White, 1830 Black or African American, 25 American Indian, 146 Asian, 13 Native Hawaiian, 247 from two or more races and 91 Ohter races.
