Haverstraw Village, Rockland County, New York is a city located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 10117. Its population was estimated at 11029 in July 2008, making it the 186th most populous in New York. It has total area of 5.07 square miles (13.13 kmē), of which, 1.99 square miles (5.15 kmē) of it is land and 3.08 square miles (7.98 kmē) of it is water, it is the 193rd largest by area in the U.S. state of New York. It is ranks 15 in the size of its inland waterways in New York.
