Haverhill City, Essex County, Massachusetts is a city located in the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. The city has a population of 58969 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 61275, It is 16th most populous in Massachusetts. The city comprises an area of 35.63 sq mi (92.28 kmē), of which, 33.33 square miles (86.32 kmē) of it is land and 2.31 square miles (5.98 kmē) of it is water, makes it the ninth largest by total area in Massachusetts.
