Harwich Center Cdp is one of the census designated place of Barnstable County, Massachusetts, located towards the Northeastern Region (New England) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 1832. It is Massachusetts's 37th smallest by population . The census designated place comprises an area of 2.29 mi˛ (5.93 square kilometre), of which, 2.25 square miles (5.83 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.1 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 52nd smallest by size in Massachusetts.
