Hartford City, Alabama is a city of the Geneva County, Alabama, United States. Hartford City had an official population of 2369 in 2000. Its population was estimated at 2426 in July 2008, It is the 175th largest by population in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is spread over 6.25 square miles (16.19 square kilometre), of which, 6.23 square miles (16.14 square kilometre ) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 211th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
