Harrison County, Indiana is a county located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, county's population was 34325 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 37067, It is the 43rd most populous county in the U.S. state of Indiana. It has total area of 486.88 square miles (1261.01 kmē), of which, 485.22 square miles (1256.71 kmē) of it is land and 1.66 square miles (4.3 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 15th largest by total area among Indiana's county.
