Harper City is a United States city located in the Harper County, Kansas, United States. Harper City had an official population of 1567 in 2000. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 1416, making it Kansas's 149th largest. Its area is just over 1.29 sq mi (3.34 square kilometre), makes it the 144th largest by total area in Kansas.
