Harford County, Maryland is a county of the United States of Maryland. As of 2000 the population was 218590. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 240351, making it Maryland's seventh largest county. Its area is just over 526.72 miē (1364.2 kmē), of which, 440.35 square miles (1140.5 kmē) of it is land and 86.37 square miles (223.7 kmē) of it is water, giving it the tenth largest by total area among Maryland's county.
