Hardy City is a city located in the Sharp County, Arkansas, United States. Hardy City had an official population of 578 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 809, It is the 271st largest by population in the U.S. state of Arkansas. The city spans an area of 2.6 sq mi (6.73 square kilometre), of which, 2.36 square miles (6.11 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.23 square miles (0.6 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 193rd largest by total area among Arkansas.
