Hanging Rock Village is one of the city of Lawrence County, Ohio, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 279 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 289, It is the 147th smallest by population in the U.S. state of Ohio. Its area is just over 0.68 mi˛ (1.76 sq km), of which, 0.62 square miles (1.61 sq km) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 sq km) of it is water, it is the 350th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.
