Hancock City is a one of the Stevens County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 717 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the population was estimated at 685, making it Minnesota's 407th largest. The city spans an area of 1 square miles (2.59 kmē), of which, 0.99 square miles (2.56 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 513th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
