Hanceville City is a city located in Cullman County, Alabama, in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 2951. Its population was estimated at 3421 in July 2008, It is Alabama's 154th largest by population . The city has a total area of 4.11 sq mi (10.64 kmē), it is the 270th largest by area in the U.S. state of Alabama.
