It is the 57th most populous in the U.S. state of Hawaii. The census designated place has a total area of 1.28 square miles (3.32 kmē), of which, 1.13 square miles (2.93 kmē) of it is land and 0.16 square miles (0.41 kmē) of it is water, making it the 28th smallest by size in Hawaii.
