It is 16th most populous in New Hampshire. The census designated place comprises an area of 5.43 sq mi (14.06 square kilometre), of which, 5.36 square miles (13.88 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, making it New Hampshire's 21st largest by total area.
