Hampstead Town is a one of the Carroll and Baltimore counties, Maryland, located in Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 5060 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 5467, It is Maryland's 170th largest by population . The town spans an area of 2.68 miē (6.94 kmē), makes it the 199th largest by total area in Maryland.
