Hammonton Town is one of the town of Atlantic County, New Jersey, located towards the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of the town was 12604 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 13424, It is the 122nd most populous in the U.S. state of New Jersey. The town encompasses an area of 41.47 sq mi (107.41 square kilometre ), of which, 41.26 square miles (106.86 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.21 square miles (0.54 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the fifth largest by total area among New Jersey.
