Hamilton City, Marion County, Alabama is a city located in the Southern Region (East South Central) of United States. In 2000, city's population was 6786 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 6393, It is the 83rd largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 36.12 square miles (93.55 kmē ), of which, 36.1 square miles (93.5 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, makes it the 23rd largest by total area in Alabama.
