Hallandale City is a city located in the Broward County, Florida, United States. In 2000, city's population was 34282 inhabitants. making it the 76th most populous in Florida. The city extends throughout a territory of 4.55 sq mi (11.78 kmē ), of which, 4.21 square miles (10.9 kmē) of it is land and 0.34 square miles (0.88 kmē) of it is water, it is the 364th largest by area in the U.S. state of Florida.
