Haleiwa Cdp is a United States census designated place located in the Honolulu County, Hawaii, United States. In 2000, the population was 2225. It is the 71st most populous in the U.S. state of Hawaii. The census designated place has a total area of 2.53 square miles (6.55 sq km), of which, 1.83 square miles (4.74 sq km) of it is land and 0.71 square miles (1.84 sq km) of it is water, making it the 72nd largest by size in Hawaii.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 2225 people, 770 households, and 526 families living in the census designated place. The population density was 1218.1 people per square mile (470.31/kmē), it is the 61st most densely populated census designated place in the U.S. state of Hawaii. There were 867 housing units at an average density of 473.8 per square mile (182.94/kmē). The average household size was 2.88 persons, and the average family size was 3.46 persons.
