Haledon Borough is a borough located in Passaic County, New Jersey, in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. In 2000, the population was 8252. The borough's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8517, making it the 197th most populous in New Jersey. The borough spans an area of 1.16 miē (3 kmē), it is the 106th smallest in terms of geographical size.

As of the census of 2000, there were 8252 people in the borough, organized into 457 households, and 284 families residing in the borough.
