Hackensack City is a city in the Cass County, Minnesota, United States. The city has a population of 285 as per the 2000 census data. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 283, It is 264th least populous in Minnesota. Its area is just over 0.72 mi˛ (1.86 square kilometre), of which, 0.71 square miles (1.84 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 244th smallest by total area among Minnesota.
