Hackberry Cdp is a census designated place in the Cameron Parish, Louisiana, United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 1699 inhabitants. It is Louisiana's 207th largest by population . The census designated place spans an area of 93.69 sq mi (242.66 sq km), of which, 82.24 square miles (213 sq km) of it is land and 11.44 square miles (29.63 sq km) of it is water, it is the third largest by area in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It is ranks third in the size of its inland waterways in Louisiana.
