Gurnee Village, Lake County, Illinois is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. In 2000, the population was 28834. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 30608, making it the 67th most populous in Illinois. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 13.42 sq mi (34.76 square kilometre), of which, 13.4 square miles (34.71 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 46th largest in terms of geographical size.
