Gunnison City is a United States city located in the Gunnison County, Colorado, United States. The population of the city was 5409 as per the 2000 census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 5461, It is the 88th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 3.21 sq mi (8.31 kmē), it is the 129th largest by area in the U.S. state of Colorado.
