Gulfport City, Pinellas County, Florida is a city located in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 12527 as per the Census data. The July 2008 population estimate is 12327, making it the 220th most populous in Florida. It is spread over 3.84 mi˛ (9.95 square kilometre), of which, 2.83 square miles (7.33 square kilometre ) of it is land and 1.01 square miles (2.62 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 417th largest by total area among Florida.
