Guadalupe County is a county in the United States of Texas. The population of the county was 89023 as per the 2000 census data. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 117172, giving it the 34th largest population among Texas's county. The county spans an area of 714.17 sq mi (1849.69 sq km), of which, 711.14 square miles (1841.84 sq km) of it is land and 3.03 square miles (7.85 sq km) of it is water, it is the 40th smallest by area in the U.S. state of Texas.

In the county the population was distributed as follows: 28.5% under the age of 18, 9% from 18 to 24, 29.1% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 11.3% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 97 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 94.3 males. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 117172, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 105384 White, 7611 Black or African American, 750 American Indian, 1637 Asian, 131 Native Hawaiian, and 1659 from two or more races.
