Grove City City is one of the city of Franklin County, Ohio, located towards the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 27075 as per the 2000 census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 33829, It is the 54th largest by population in the U.S. state of Ohio. The city comprises an area of 13.96 square miles (36.16 square kilometre), of which, 13.95 square miles (36.13 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 57th largest by area in the U.S. state of Ohio.

As of the census of 2000, there were 27075 people in the city, organized into 10265 households, and 7543 families living in the city. The population density was 1941.2 people per square mile (749.5/kmē), making its Ohio's 316th most densely populated city.
