Griggs County is a county located in the United States of North Dakota. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Griggs County is home to 2754 inhabitants. It has an estimated population (as of July 2008) of 2359, making it North Dakota's 14th smallest county. It covers total area of 716.17 sq mi (1854.87 kmē), of which, 708.5 square miles (1835.01 kmē) of it is land and 7.67 square miles (19.87 kmē) of it is water, it is the fourth smallest by area in the U.S. state of North Dakota.

The county's estimated population as of July 2008 was 2359, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 99.41% White, 0% Black or African American, 0.25% American Indian, 0.13% Asian, 0% Native Hawaiian, and 0.21% from two or more races.
