Greenwood Lake Village is a United States city located in the Orange County, New York, United States. As per the 2000 census, city has a population of 3411 inhabitants. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 3417, making it the 436th most populous in New York. The city spans an area of 2.46 sq mi (6.37 sq km), of which, 2.04 square miles (5.28 sq km) of it is land and 0.42 square miles (1.09 sq km) of it is water, it is the 461st largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.

As of the census of 2000, there were 3411 people in the city, organized into 1332 households, and 878 families living in the city.
