Greenwood City, Arkansas is a city of the Sebastian County, Arkansas, United States. As of 2000 the population was 7112. Its population was estimated at 8635 in July 2008, It is the 46th most populous in the U.S. state of Arkansas. It is spread over 9.32 mi˛ (24.14 sq km), of which, 9.19 square miles (23.8 sq km ) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 sq km) of it is water, making it the 49th largest by size in Arkansas.
