Greenville City is a city in the Montcalm County, Michigan, United States. The population of the city was 7935 as per the 2000 census data. The city's estimated population as of July 2008 was 8154, making it Michigan's 139th largest. The city encompasses an area of 5.95 sq mi (15.41 kmē ), of which, 5.71 square miles (14.79 kmē) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 kmē) of it is water, giving it the 119th largest by total area among Michigan.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7935 people, 3303 households, and 2042 families living in the city.
