Greenville City is a city in the Muhlenberg County, Kentucky, United States. Greenville City had an official population of 4398 in 2000. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 4235, It is the 93rd largest in terms of population. The city spans an area of 4.78 sq mi (12.38 kmē), of which, 4.77 square miles (12.35 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 86th largest by area in the U.S. state of Kentucky.
