Greendale Village, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin is a city located in the Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 14405. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 13978, It is the 48th largest in terms of population. The city encompasses an area of 5.61 mi˛ (14.53 sq km ), of which, 5.6 square miles (14.5 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, giving it the 113th largest by total area among Wisconsin.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 14405 people, 76 households, and 48 families living in the city. The population density was 2571.8 people per square mile (992.98/km˛), it is Wisconsin's 33rd most densely populated city. There were 6165 housing units at an average density of 1100.9 per square mile (425.06/km˛). It has an average household size was 2.38 persons, and the average family size was 2.88 persons. In the Greendale Village, 22.4% of the population was under the age of 18, 6% were 18 to 24, 23.7% were 25 to 44, 27.9% were 45 to 64, and 20.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 89.1 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 84.9 males.
