Green River City is a city in the Emery County, Utah, United States. Green River City had an official population of 973 in 2000. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 923, It is the 153rd largest by population in the U.S. state of Utah. It is spread over 12.64 miē (32.74 kmē), of which, 12.51 square miles (32.4 kmē ) of it is land and 0.13 square miles (0.34 kmē) of it is water, making it the 52nd largest by size in Utah.
