Green City is a one of the Summit County, Ohio, located in Midwestern Region (East North Central) of United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 22817 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 23404, It is the 66th largest in terms of population. The city has a total area of 33.53 square miles (86.84 kmē), of which, 32.06 square miles (83.04 kmē) of it is land and 1.47 square miles (3.81 kmē) of it is water, making it Ohio's ninth largest by total area. It is ranks tenth in the size of its inland waterways in Ohio.

The population density was 711.7 people per square mile (274.79/kmē), making its Ohio's 187th least densely populated city.
