Grants Pass City is a United States city located in the Josephine County, Oregon, United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Grants Pass City is home to 23003 inhabitants. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 33217, making it the 18th most populous in Oregon. It covers total area of 7.7 sq mi (19.94 sq km), of which, 7.58 square miles (19.63 sq km) of it is land and 0.12 square miles (0.31 sq km) of it is water, makes it the 34th largest by total area in Oregon.

As of the census of 2000, there were 23003 residents, 16 households, and 12 families in the city.
