Granite Falls City, Minnesota is a city of the Chippewa, Renville and Yellow Medicine counties, Minnesota, United States. The population of city in 2000 stood at 3070 as per the Census data. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 2908, making it Minnesota's 180th largest. It covers total area of 3.69 square miles (9.56 square kilometre), of which, 3.45 square miles (8.94 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.24 square miles (0.62 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 200th largest by area in the U.S. state of Minnesota.
