Grand Marais City is a one of the Cook County, Minnesota, located in Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. The population of the city was 1353 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 1418, making it the 286th most populous in Minnesota. Its area is just over 2.67 mi˛ (6.92 sq km), makes it the 253rd largest by total area in Minnesota.
