Grand Isle Town is a town located in Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, in the Southern Region (West South Central) of United States. The population of town in 2000 stood at 1541 as per the Census data. In July 2008, its estimated population was 1619, It is the 219th largest by population in the U.S. state of Louisiana. It has total area of 7.76 mi˛ (20.1 square kilometre), of which, 6.14 square miles (15.9 square kilometre) of it is land and 1.62 square miles (4.2 square kilometre) of it is water, making it Louisiana's 80th largest by total area. It is ranks 18 in the size of its inland waterways in Louisiana.

As of the census of 2000, there were 1541 people in the town, organized into 400 households, and 290 families residing in the town. The population density was 251.1 people per square mile (96.95/km˛), making its Louisiana's 82nd least densely populated town.
