Grady County is a county in the United States of Oklahoma. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 45516 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 51066 in July 2008, It is Oklahoma's 13th most populous county. The county has a total area of 1105.3 square miles (2862.71 square kilometre), of which, 1100.96 square miles (2851.47 square kilometre) of it is land and 4.34 square miles (11.24 square kilometre) of it is water, making it the 14th largest by size in Oklahoma.

According to 2000 Census Bureau, there were 45516 people, 17341 households, and 12799 families residing in the county. The population density was 41.3 people per square mile (15.95/kmē), it is Oklahoma's 26th most densely populated county. There were 19444 housing units at an average density of 17.7 per square mile (6.83/kmē). The average household size was 2.58 persons, and the average family size was 3.02 persons. In the county the population is diverse age-wise, with 26.7% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 27.7% from 25 to 44, 23.2% from 45 to 64, and 13.1% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 95.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 91.3 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 51066, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 45045 White, 1531 Black or African American, 2657 American Indian, 194 Asian, 21 Native Hawaiian, and 1618 from two or more races.
