Gowanda Village is a city in the Cattaraugus and Erie counties, New York, United States. Gowanda Village had an official population of 2842 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 2603, It is New York's 480th largest by population . Its area is just over 1.61 miē (4.17 kmē), of which, 1.6 square miles (4.14 kmē) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 kmē) of it is water, it is the 620th largest by area in the U.S. state of New York.
