Gouverneur Village is a one of the St. Lawrence County, New York, located in Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. According to the latest population census dating back to 2000, the Gouverneur Village is home to 4263 inhabitants. The July 2008 population estimate is 4012, It is the 379th largest by population in the U.S. state of New York. Its area is just over 2.19 mi˛ (5.67 square kilometre), of which, 2.13 square miles (5.52 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.06 square miles (0.16 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 507th largest in terms of geographical size.
