The county has a total area of 358.01 sq mi (927.24 square kilometre), of which, 355.54 square miles (920.84 square kilometre) of it is land and 2.48 square miles (6.42 square kilometre) of it is water, it is the 76th largest by area in the U.S. state of Georgia.
