Gordo Town is a United States town located in the Pickens County, Alabama, United States. As per the 2000 census, town has a population of 1677 inhabitants. Its population was estimated at 1557 in July 2008, It is 218th most populous in Alabama. The town extends throughout a territory of 3.19 sq mi (8.26 square kilometre ), of which, 3.18 square miles (8.24 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the 321st largest by total area in Alabama.
