Goose Creek City is a city located in Berkeley and Charleston counties, South Carolina, in the Southern Region (South Atlantic) of United States. According to the 2000 census it had a population of 29208 inhabitants. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the city is 37900, making it the 11th most populous in South Carolina. The city has a total area of 32.47 square miles (84.1 square kilometre), of which, 31.69 square miles (82.08 square kilometre) of it is land and 0.77 square miles (1.99 square kilometre) of it is water, makes it the seventh largest by total area in South Carolina.
