Goodrich City is one of the city of Sheridan County, North Dakota, located towards the Midwestern Region (West North Central) of United States. As of 2000 the population was 163. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 116, giving it the 200th largest population among North Dakota. The city comprises an area of 0.28 square miles (0.73 sq km), of which, 0.28 square miles (0.73 sq km) of it is land and 0.01 square miles (0.03 sq km) of it is water, it is the 98th smallest by area in the U.S. state of North Dakota.

As of the census of 2000, there were 163 residents, 81 households, and 45 families in the city. The population density was 582.8 people per square mile (225.02/kmē), it is 151st most densely populated city in North Dakota. There were 113 housing units at an average density of 403.6 per square mile (155.83/kmē). The average household size was 2.01 persons, and the average family size was 2.69 persons.
