Gold Hill City is a city located in Jackson County, Oregon, in the Western Region (Pacific) of United States. Gold Hill City had an official population of 1073 in 2000. Its population in July 2008 was estimated to be about 1070, It is the 184th largest by population in the U.S. state of Oregon. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.7 mi˛ (1.81 sq km), making it Oregon's 78th smallest by total area.
