Glenolden Borough, Delaware County, Pennsylvania is a borough located in the Northeastern Region (Mid-Atlantic) of United States. The population of the borough was 7476 as per the 2000 census data. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the borough is 7203, making it the 170th most populous in Pennsylvania. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.97 sq mi (2.51 kmē), it is the 743rd largest by area in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania.

As of the census of 2000, there were 7476 people in the borough, organized into 3058 households, and 1872 families living in the borough. The population density was 7673.6 people per square mile (2962.79/kmē), giving it the 36th most densely populated borough among the Pennsylvania. In the borough the population was distributed as follows: 23.8% under the age of 18, 9.1% from 18 to 24, 31.8% from 25 to 44, 20.6% from 45 to 64, and 14.8% who were 65 or older. The racial or ethnic makeup of the borough was 92.28% White, 4.03% Black or African American, 0.04% American Indian, 2.38% Asian, 0.01% Native Hawaiian, 1.04% from two or more races and 0.21% Other races.
