Glenn County is a United States county located in the United States of California. In 2000, the population was 26453. As of July 2008, the estimated population was 28237, giving it the tenth smallest population among California's county. Its area is just over 1327.16 mi˛ (3437.33 square kilometre), of which, 1314.79 square miles (3405.29 square kilometre) of it is land and 12.36 square miles (32.01 square kilometre) of it is water, giving it the 37th largest by total area among California's county.

The population's age distribution was 30.8% under the age of 18, 8.7% from 18 to 24, 26.8% from 25 to 44, 20.7% from 45 to 64, and 13% who were 65 or older. For every 100 females there were 102.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 99.5 males. As of July 2008, the estimated population of the county is 28237, The racial or ethnic makeup of the county was 25812 White, 241 Black or African American, 655 American Indian, 933 Asian, 45 Native Hawaiian, and 551 from two or more races.
