Glendive City is a United States city located in the Dawson County, Montana, United States. In 2000, the population was 4729. According to July 2008 Census Bureau estimates, the population of the city is 4585, It is Montana's 21st largest by population . The city spans an area of 3.36 miē (8.7 kmē), of which, 3.33 square miles (8.62 kmē) of it is land and 0.03 square miles (0.08 kmē) of it is water, it is the 91st largest in terms of geographical size.
